The SILENCE between Scar and Grian when the machine blew itself up was too funny.

As someone with ADHD I relate to the 'back of the base' problem SO HARD.

There’s Grian safe redstone (builds protected by reckless redstone inputs, causing a contraption to break)
Scar + Grian Safe- a Physical Hypothetical scenario that is easy to conceive but not yet proven to exist

I find it extremely funny that even after several jokes a friendly intervention about him not completing the back of things, he and Scar did not do the back of the diamond pile bribe for Doc

Scar, Impulse, and Gemini pulling up like a bunch of Parental Figures to get Grian to stop procrastinating, has got to be the best thing I've seen all day.

I love how Grian figured out Xzuma's shop quickly, while mumbo actively took items out of the box and left diamonds in their place

"If you break this thing doc will kill you" "FREE DIAMONDS" "yeah free diamonds" and then just the gasp when it blows up is absolutely devastating im laughing so hard Grians genuine terror and just the disbelief is amazing

the way both of them stopped laughing and stared at the machine destroying itself... it might be the funniest thing ive ever seen and i laughed so hard i almost threw up omg

The way they paused when they realised that they broke an adult complex machine just brings back child hood memories of breaking something at home realising how much trouble I was in 😂😂😂

These guys have the genius idea to review footage with the other hermits to find how it broke, but they can't review it again TO SEE HOW TO BUIL IT

Petition for Grian's season 10 base to just be the back of the mega base, and then completely neglect the front.

This was an emotional roller coaster of an episode for Grian, from an intervention straight to blowing up Docs machine would’ve been whiplash

Grian going into Doc's tunnel feels like the protagonist figuring out the true depth of the Dark Lord's plan

Seeing a Hermitcraft video simply titled "THE INCIDENT" is the most terrifying thing.

The "incident" is literally what I would deem the polar opposite of the joy brought by the quadruple tnt kill in Limited Life

scar saying “you never know if you’re gonna wake up in the morning” rings a little more true when you have doc coming after you huh

20:06 this is equivalent to sibling having fun with something they don’t understand what but happy to play with then just breaking and just the 4 seconds of silence makes it all the better

I love that even in the moment of complete panic the blogger mode kicks in and Grian actually waits for Scar to fly within voice chat distance to unpause the full panic mode

I think its safe to expect that a LOOOOOOT of charged creepers will appear at your base all of a sudden.

That part where all thee skulk sensors went off felt like a horror movie moment, trapped hundreds of meters below the surface, the exit is so far away, and right above him is a colony of ravaging wardens.

I love how as soon as they broke Doc's Redstone they act like children that just destroyed their father's expensive item and are going to get in trouble when he comes home 🤣

I'm sorry the casual "what doin" turning into an all out intervention is the funniest thing that has ever happened 😂😂😂

Grian and scar blowing up the excavator has the energy of 2 ten year olds playing baseball and breaking the kitchen window

Grian and scar running away like brothers after they broke one of their dads model cars is the highlight of this season

Scar : That one Uncle that always is on the kids side, when the parents are counting on them to be on their side

i was SO afraid it was going to be the anvil launcher. i had anxiety the whole episode, which probably helped to make the moment of silence after the first explosion, punctuated by the second and then dead silence absolutely priceless! i so wish they had their cameras on for this.

Well, chaos certainly descibes this episode well. Being forced by your friends to finish the back of your base, saying "I HATE YOU!" then going back to say "I do love you" to blowing up a friend's redstone contraption by accident and hoping it'll all work out. This was so much fun to watch, though I wouldn't want to be Scar and Grian.

Grian starting to build and than it's a "We're sorry" killed me😂😂😂 and just act surprised with doc and try to find who did it😂😂😂

Grian's comment about the hole having no back got me thinking... next season he should build a base where instead of having a back, he just keeps extending it out to infinity the entire season!

Watching 2 adults squeal in sheer panic as they run away saying "We're in so much trouble!" made my day

I want to go watch doc build these insane contraptions but honestly the best way to experience them is the awe of going “how on earth did he do that?”

When I first started building I also used to struggle on the back side of my bases but then I started planning for the back to have things like backyards, hidden entrances/exits, or just little Easter eggs and then building the back became just as fun as the front. The front looks grand and the back, while looking normal, has a sense of mystery because of this. 10/10 would recommend building backs of bases like this. I also got to mess around with red stone to make hidden doors

I’ve had a hard week ngl but watching this I forgot about everything. Grian is fr like me honestly. Him, “I don’t want to finish this” me doing anything “I want to do something else”

I love how Impulse, the only parent of the group, is actually parenting Grian lol

All of this is hysterically funny but imagining a bunch of hermits watching it back together with Scar and Grian is possibly even funnier.

This episode is the perfect example of the butterfly effect. Grian said hi to some friends over chat, and ended up destroying Doc’s high tech tunnel bore. We could have had a simple copper war with Mumbo, but instead Grian and Scar cost Doc millions in damages.

scar constantly amazes me whenever he builds. i know he's an amazing builder and then he suddenly shows he's better than that. its amazing.

The tunnel bore doesnt actually seem too difficult to make. Assuming its a modular design you only need to know how to make a small section of it to know how to fix the whole thing.

This is one of my favorite episodes, love the friendship in this. It’s just augh, so wholesome. Makes me want to go get a group of friends

I haven't watch much since the caves and cliffs update, so seeing that enormous perimeter thats now the standard is pretty amazing to me

An idea for next season, everyone pick's out of a hat (separated equally per player) the amount of farms needed and they are the sole creator of said farm and seller, which will force people to buy and sell. This could also help with reducing lag, since people won't be ''allowed'' to make more farms.

I love how it all started from Grian wanting to troll Mumbo with Amogus, and then spiralled down to Grian and Scar inflicting the biggest property damage since annihilation of Hermitcraft season 8 server by the Moon.

i can imagine Doc is just going to be like lecturing them like a parent lecturing a toddler that's not eating their food

i've seen this a dozen times, i still crack up laughing at Grians stare and ensuing panic.
