Can’t wait to sacrifice my sleep schedule for it!
Hi
Can’t wait to watch
Bet
Noice
The entire suspicious stew segment felt like they were trying to steal free water
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAJHAHAHA
Lmao
💀 actually a good joke
i fking love this comparison 🤣
Love how Grian and Scar essentially made a whole episode out of making secret Suspicious Stews, only for Xisuma to make it completely redundant
Still costs diamonds so I think they still got it
Especially since brown mooshroom cows don't need to be restocked
That oh no was so pained
Grian and Scar are a top tier duo 🤝🏽🤝🏿🤝🏼🤝🏻🤝🏾
What the- BRclip hello?!
wsp youtube .
youtubes
Indeed they are. Also, Hi BRclip!

Can I just say, as a fan with auditory processing issues, the caption work is incredible. This is the only channel I know of that actually color codes and entitles who is saying what. I always feel a bit sad when I notice a video has those horrible auto captions, so it comforts me to know that I won’t lose the plot on a new Grian upload. ❤️
Tom Scott also does it
zedaph has decent captions too!
yeahh!! shout out to the captions teams and the youtubers who pay for them !!!!!
Idk people's opinions about him or particularly care people's opinions but tommyinnit has good colourful ones
I've noticed this in the past too, Grian always puts in 110% when it comes to captions.
I love Tango being in dad mode 😂
"Huh! I can hear them?" Does a twirl
funny
I find Grian and Scar's ability to have their plans immediately thwarted absolutely incredible. An entire, devious video rendered null by the kindness of X.
Combining Grian's complex plans with Scar's innate ability to be constantly distracted is a good recipe for hilarity.
*Scar’s innate ability to constantly distract everyone including himself lol
Tbh tho G gets distracted really easily as well lol
@@TeddyGamez3703 This is true!
And grians tendency to role with scars distractions
@@TeddyGamez3703they might just be the two most distractible Hermits honestly, and they just feed off each other.
Grian and Scar acting suspicious at the end was so freaking funny, it felt like a sketch comedy moment
It was so funny to see on tangos stream, they were so obviously upto something, especially when they suddenly got quiet
grian and scar are like aang and sokka, separately capable of really impressive things, but together totally get off course and struggle to complete a single goal
Grian and Scar feel like the kindergarteners dealing fruit snacks behind the playground after school and trying not to get caught by the teacher
23:16 I like how they're referring to crafting benches as Ren's base now.
The whole sus stew mission combined with that ending felt like a Regular Show episode
Grian and Scar thinking they're so smart and slick making suspicious stew only to find an entire community chest for all hermits. The "oh no!!!" at the end killed me😂
those are sold for 1 diamond for 3sus stews though so i think them having their own is still good since they won't need to spend diamonds
@@JoshPabustanThey'll have to harvest the correct flower, but yeah, much more affordable.
Not exactly a community chest, it's a shop Xisuma made
@@didi81_ Well, it can still be a community chest if you don't pay for the products (like certain easily distractible person).
The dynamic of the "Secret Suspicious Stew Soulmates" is absolutely amazing. I just love the silly ideas they come up with😂
Not the cost of living crisis! 😭😭
Edit: Grian doing pspsps to Scar as two cat lovers is so hilarious to me😂
Also it's a dandelion with the mushrooms to make the regen stew
I love the inclusion of “Tongo” in the subtitles near the beginning LOL. I always love the subtitles on the videos, and as someone with sensory processing issues it really means a lot to me to have such well-made captions. Thank you so much!
Grian and Scar constantly being distracted by the shiny is always a recipe for hilarity.
Also, I REALLY want to be able to play Decked Out myself.
The way Tango just played into their nonsense was great. I haven't laughed so hard in forever.
I love how X just casually made some suspisious stew for the hermits, not knowing what scar and grian had planned. And more decked out is always good.
Don't read my name...
You should look for Dwight Schnoot with visable hitboxes turned on so that its a bright box among the trees.
Don’t forget that Gem is skilled making trees as well. You can always ask her for advice
"So apparently if we feed these guys dandelions and then milk them with our bowls we get full saturation"- Best quote from Grian
Tall Birch are still only naturally spawning and only in the "Old Growth" forest biome.
You could make random 3-5 tall pillars of dirt to grow some of your saplings on, then just replace it with birch logs to get similar effect. :)
They actually give better than the max level of saturation, they give you a potion effect which continuously gives you saturation for a couple seconds, meaning it gives you max saturation and a couple seconds where it cannot decay because it is continuously giving you max saturation
Grian and Scar purposely being suspicious to throw tango off of what they did is so funny
tango purposely put buttons into decked out to trigger grians button-push-obsession
It's also amazing how by doing so they found a strat for decked out lol
@@crisa2354I feel that’s going to lose someone a run once the warden is involved lol.
*Tongo
i like how he so easily attracted scar by saying ps ps ps ps hes like a cat 12:40
Something about you and Scar looking for directions and Hypno hopping by doing the run of shame just sent me XD
Side note it's great to see the server so alive that you bump into others just going about their own thing, I don't know what it is but it just is.
My favorite is 24:25 where Grian almost said Harder.
27:01 literally the comedic timing is immaculate
Beans' joy at having the rocket named after him is so admirable.
Etho saying “skill issue” is somehow both the most Etho thing he could possibly say and also the most unexpected out of pocket phrase he could ever utter
this was brought up in a tango stream and grian clarified that etho didnt actually say "skill issue". he gave grian some advice and grian just interpreted it that way cause he was frustrated with how bad he was doing lol
Could of sworn he actually did say the precise words "skill issue" too, though idk if it was to Grain.
What do people mean by "out of pocket"?
@@Chigger generally it means outside of social expectations
@@rorycannon7295 Thanks. There are plenty of phrases I don't get, so I appreciate your reply.
Hypno's little giggle was so cute and funny 😆
You could also use honey bottles or Scar's Elven Kisses to max out saturation, but the stew's definitely the fastest option
Combining Grian's complex plans with Scar's innate ability to be constantly distracted is a good recipe for hilarity. absolutely
19:06 you can craft suspecious stew too
atleast in bedrock you can, the recipe for mushroom stew + the item you want, in your case dandelions
Watching with captions on. I noticed you had Tango labeled as [TONGO] when you said "Tongo". That tiny detail is one thing I love about your videos!
Grain: Comes up with an elaborate plan to max out saturation with sus stew.
Hypno: drinks honey bottle
Honey truly is the best
Except honey sounds awful lol
Don't read my name...
I love how Tango just plays along 😂
I love Grian & Scar shenanigans so much.
Getting to see grian's pov of what was going on while tango was streaming is exactly what I wanted!!
Question: Is the suspicious stew recipes for Bedrock different from Java? Bc adding a blue orchid to mushroom stew in bedrock gives the same effect (albeit I am starting to realize how common dandelions are in the various biomes while the orchids are typically limited to just the swamp, which gives a decent reason as to why you go for yellow as opposed to blue, but still)
The 'Oh no!' was an amazing way to end that. Amazing content, as always!!
Hahaha wow... just, that ending, after all that. The beginning was so tense and dramatic with the decked out run, then the polishing up and adding details to the base really paced things down in a nice way, only for it to take a mischievous turn the moment Scar was summoned with a cat's call.
Theoretically, it's easy to plan videos and how they will go, but the elements here are just so perfectly arranged that, even with all the preparation in the world, I don't think you could set out to make this exact video. I think what sets Hermitcraft videos apart is that you can't plan for everything - but with the right people, you can always count on a good time, no pun intended.
Love the adventure and the shenanigans, these videos are always such a nice break from worldly woes. Thanks! Really loving that the decked out runs will be uploaded on the second channel, will definitely be checking those out!
i think the tree on the boulder would look nice with some roots tangling around the rock, given the trees would have to be a bit bigger
17:18, Suddenly, Hypno.
I do really feel like Etho would be the one hermit to say “skill issue”
well, judging by the on-stream reaction to people saying that's pretty mean of etho to say, he was more giving very helpful and polite advice on how to get out safely at the end of a run, which grian very concisely cut down to "so what you're saying is i just need to get good"
Grian mentioned elsewhere that Etho said something much nicer in the vein of "you need to focus more on x" or "or yeah, don't forget to do y", but Grian is interpreting that as "skill issue lol git gud".

The very end of the episode is pure freaking hilarity, I love it. You guys trying to get a tiny leg up on the game and (presumably) Tango sees it and implements it for everyone
10:40 My favorite protip for making the taller trees without building a bunch by hand is to make a little pillar of dirt (just however many extra blocks tall you want the tree to be), grow the tree on top of it, then just replace the dirt with whatever kind of log it is. Very excited to go watch all the decked out runs after this vid!
Honestly, as an adult, decked out is my favorite Grain content recently. I like hearing you think out loud and not only be joking around (Jokes are welcome though!) Love the stuff you put on the second channel!
Grian, the reason the birch trees are taller are because you made you base in a moderately rare Tall Birch Forest.
Love the DO2 content! Keep up the good work, you are amazing!
26:39 is actual comedy gold
I love how Scar summons lightning once and immediately goes mad with power
The dandelions are permanent. The cows are now saturation cows - unless someone feeds them a different flower. (some interesting ones - I think oxeye daisies are regen and I know lillies of the valley are poison).
That bit where Tango compares Grian and Scar to three year olds doing magic tricks poorly is so painfully accurate. 😭
It's the "good job, honey, good job." that really sells it
For taller trees, stack blocks next to the sapling (the first block is temporary, remove it)…I think it was fwhip who showed this mechanic.
Grian and scar doing something together made me nervous ever since the explosive incident
I love how they could have gotten the soups by having both kinds of mushrooms and yellow flowers
Edit: it probably was much more fun the way they did
I like that the birch trees closer to Grian's base, the ones that he's planted, are a bit shorter than the rest of the natural Old Growth Birch Forest he's next to. Honestly it lends itself to the realism angle a bit, thinning the forest down and out as we come to the cliffsides of Grian's and Mumbo's areas.
Gemini can help with growing tall birch trees. Has something to do with placing wood and torches around saplings
Grian and Scar getting constantly distracted when trying to lure the cows back to decked out is exactly how my adhd feels sometimes!
My content is superior 😂
its only been 10 min how did you finish the vid and you posted 8 min ago the in 2min just how
@@zebnics possibly 2x watch speed or they skiped in the video

As for the cherry tree, it's on the sculk-infested floating rock.
Grian you have no idea how grateful I am for the subtitles, As someone who has really bad attention span IT REALLY HELPs me enjoy the video better❤
The comedic ending on this was so awesome. Grian, you are so much fun. You, Mumbo, and Scar got me through the pandemic. Thanks!! I love laughing at your shenanigans.
I love how the bases are like a sandwich, a very industrial crust ,scar and mumbo’s bases, and a magical natural filling which is Grians base
I don’t usually like watching people play the home made games but the sound effects for decked out are really exquisite
Grian showing us that queue for a 20 second clip when in reality it took him Etho and impulse a few hours of pain to get it going! Show support for the amazing Q!
Don't read my name...
I knew already how it would end and it was still hilarious because of the perfect comedic timing
Tango is an evil genius! I adore watching Decked Out so so so much, there's so much love put into this game. I know I would be way too scared to play it tho lol.
Not sure if this is just bedrock, but you can craft suspicious stew with mushroom stew and a flower (different flower different effect)
The exact science of the Brown Mooshrooms:
When you feed a brown mooshroom a small flower, the next time it is milked with a bowl it will produce suspicious stew. There is no time limit on this stew, but production limit of one feeding = one stew. The next time you milk it, it will revert to mushroom stew until it is fed again.
The type of flower equals the type of effect with the stew. You are searching for the saturation effect, which can be made with dandelions and blue orchids. Other possible effects include:
Fire resistance - Allium
Blindness - Azure Bluet
Jump Boost - Cornflower
Poison - Lily of the Valley
Regeneration - Oxeye Daisy
Night Vision - Poppy or Torchflower
Weakness - Tulips
Wither - Wither Rose
"It's like when a three-year-old tries to pull off a magic trick and it's so obvious how the trick is done, but I just have to nod, and smile, and say: 'good job, honey. Good job.'" - Tango, 2023.
Grian and Scar have gotta be the best mc duo since yogscast
Before I forget, (because I totally will) I believe the birch forest next to your base is considered an "old growth" birch forest. Thats what makes the trees so tall. Also, if I remember correctly, old growth forests now naturally generate dig sites!
I loved that interaction with Tango and at the very end, but this whole episode was amazing!
This season has potential to be the best
btw, you can craft suspicious stew by adding a flower (in this case a dandelion) to the regular mushroom stew recipe too
and as you need to feed the brown mooshroom a flower every time you want one, you might as well just craft the stew every time instead (if you have enough mushrooms that is, i guess)
Grian attracting Scar with the cat pss pss pss is a very accurate and hilarious image of their friendship lol.

🌸This is reminding me of Grian's cat whisperer vid lol
Love your content you play with such great people as well and keep up the amazing work
So actually you're getting the cow hooked on dandelions meaning each milking you need to offer one more dandelion than previously.
Scar is literally the embodiment of a cat. He gets lured by the pssts.
I had bought Grians TCG card and saw the cherry blossom trees and thought they were so beautiful, it’s great seeing them come to life. I love Scar and Grians connection and had to buy scars TCG card as well in honour of their friendship.❤❤
you can make a blue orchid farm in the swamp, those also make saturation
Every episode should have Decked Out in it. Tango deserves more exposure to what he has achieved. It’s just amazing
Don't read my name,,,
agreed, but in fairness tango's exposure is going through the roof right now--deservedly so.
@@ashenbreese that’s cool, but there is no such thing as to much exposure. He built this for them to play. And is asking for nothing in return. At the very least, all the hermits should feature Decked Out on their main channels show casing this amazing never seen before achievement. And not dumped on a secondary channel. But this is my opinion, nobody is going to listen anything I have to say. It’s just how I feel. Tango deserve so much for this.
It would be cool to add an ender stasis chamber to the Q. That way, when it's your turn, it teleports you right to the waiting room, or it'll bring you to the opening
An easier way of getting the stew is just to put dandelions, red mushrooms, brown mushrooms, and a bowl into a crafting table, but that fill your hunger, not saturation
Love your videos so much, they are so funny :D
Little side note, each flower gives a side effect, I think the dandelion is regeneration, and the cool thing is I think it’s because you can actually eat a dandelion, from the flower to the roots
I love videos and the builds you make which inspires me a lot
these stews are insane. i lived off of them exclusively on a server for quite a while; i got a good stock of them from a farmer villager that happened to sell them. i carried a shulker box of them with me and occasionally swapped out the one in my hotbar, they last for so long that its not a nuisance at all
Can we appreciate how this is the first episode in a really long time where Grain actually did progress?
Who is this Grain character?
@@LRM12o8 Good question. Probably not poultry man.
And didn't break any redstone in the process.
Yeah, it was nice to see some base updates.
Wdym??? Last episode he did some progress?
Just a thought.. but could you use the skulk vines on some of that cherry blossom that is covering the skulk on the rock?... so it looks a little more blended together and not rough, although it's just a thought I had, but the darkness of the cherry wood kinda helps to mix too I think.
you can also craft the suspicious by adding a dandelion or blue orchid to the mushroom stew recipe. You will need the same flowers to feed to the mooshroom for the stew anyways.
I won't lie, just getting so much more from Etho secondhand has been so much fun. Him "bullying" the other hermits is so funny. "Skill issue"
So excited for more Decked Out! Also did love all the shenanigans, as always!!
I don’t think you need to turn them in the brown cows. I think you can use feed the flower and then it will give you whatever effect the suspicious stew word like if you feed them a dandelion, it will give you saturation suspicious stew stew
Hypno running by you two in the nether hub might be my new favorite Hermitcraft moment, it just captures this server so well.
I know right? Such a moment.
"Someone didn't sleep in the bed~!"
The dash of shame xD
10:50 you are right, specific biomes naturally generate taller birch trees than normal. You could simulate them by planting saplings two or three blocks up and fill in the trunk below.
Okay, since nobody else is gonna mention it, you don’t actually need the mooshroom to make suspicious stew, you just need to make mushroom stew with the flower in the 4th crafting slot (I don’t know if it still gives max saturation though)
For taller trees, just plant it on raised dirt and add the logs to the base. Think I learned that from Wattles
