Grian I think you can add a few shroomlights underneath the leaves of the tree, and at night the tree will glow and look really cool. P.S. I think giant lanterns would be cooler but idk.

Grian, I am sure people already pointed out, but you can improve your Sniffer farm and still use nice looking blocks (moss, like you wanted) if you switch the hoppers for rails, with a hopper minecart. Hopper minecarts can pickup items from full blocks because their hitboxes actually touches inside of the blocks on top.

You should have a subtle difference in the names of the Painful Panes so that they don't stack up and can take up more inventory space
Gotta say, Doc's piston animation was really well executed.
Also the fact that the wither skull 'hitting' the side created an explosion? Pretty good story telling.

You could use the sheared bamboo blocks as makeshift tatami mats for the meeting room, it’d tie well into the japanese/bonzai aestethic
Hey, for the sniffer farm: you need to give them more room. The way they search is weird and makes no sense, but if they sniff a block, they have to sniff twenty more before they can sniff that one again. So in order to speed up the searching, give them more room! Otherwise, wow, I am just blown away by the talent in the builds you did this episode. Also the reference to the barge from s7 made me so happy

I have an idea how to escalate the pack war. Doc is concerned about the sculk spreading near him from X's new farm, so why not instead hide catalysts at the bottom of the bedrock holes, and see how long it takes him to find them?
I would love see you building a secret path in the bonsai trunk and outside of it when it gets thinner, to access the meeting room and all the branches by foot
I’ve really been enjoying the season, the hermits respecting their time/content and releasing less episodes has lead to better episodes/projects across all the series

I wouldn't be surprised if they are planning on ending the season with Doc blowing up the back of Grain's base right before the end. That way Grian gets to continue the joke into other seasons and everyone gets funny content.
Season 7 was by far my favorite season. The Barge was a gorgeous build, I'm obsessed with Etho's beautiful monstrosity of a base, BDubs blew us all away... good times
Also being able to activate the target blocks by ramming into it is unbelievable hilarious

Scar teaching Grian how to build a tree with dirt is honestly wholesome
Maybe on the pot instead of adding only a B for Buttercups, you could also add different pictures that symbolize "live laugh love" like for example on one side of the pot add a heart to symbolize love, and on another side you can add a laughing emoji to symbolize laugh
Oh, there most definitely needs to be a giant memorial to the sniffers, and you need to make sure that Doc absolutely can not miss it. Maybe you should even invite him and Ren when you hold the memorial service. Really make them feel the impact of their decisions. ;)

Love seeing you slowly find ways to be productive that work for you! And I'm enjoying seeing the productivity (that bonsai was really pretty! Maybe add in symbols on the pot to give depth and make the pot interesting? Like carvings..like the sherds you can find and combine to create pots with designs! But make your own symbols. Such as a cursive B as you suggested)

Hopper minecarts can pick up items through full blocks, unlike regular hoppers which need "transparent" or "half" blocks (and mud is considered as a "transparent" block, if i remember correctly). So if you wanna make your seed farm more aesthetic, thats how to do so
I know Grian isn't inspired to use the bamboo block right now. But given how amazing that cherry bonsai turned out, I'd love to see him build something mixing bamboo with cherry blossoms/leaves. Japanese inspired build? Idk, I just think it'd be cool :) Great episode!!
What’s so hilarious is Doc knows that Grian can not resist and I’m sure Grian knows 90% of the time it’s going to end badly and yet does it anyways.

So, here's an idea to decorate the sides of the pot AND make use of your cocoa bean farm; make the imprint thingies that you can put on regular pots, and put them on the other three sides of the pot
The illagers in the patrols always do that! They don't aggro until you get close it's super cool and makes them surprisingly easy to avoid it's awesome. People just get rid of them so they don't stumble into them. But if they are in stand and stare mode you can ignore them bc they freeze up until you leave that range (then they just keep walking)
Idea: build some falling petals going down into the perimiter, and a pile of them built up down there

Man, I fell out of the loop some time kind of near the end of season 6, and hadn't gotten back around to watching the series for _years_
I finally decided to rewatch some episodes, and then all of the ones I hadn't seen yet, and I've been binge-watching your Hermitcraft videos for about a month now (somewhat on-again, off-again, so I wouldn't get bored by overwhelming myself with it too much lol)
And, I'm happy to finally be caught up! But I'm a little sad I can no longer just binge-watch videos; they've been a big comfort for me recently while dealing with some real life issues of various sorts, and they've never failed to get a laugh out of me and bring a big smile to my face. Can't watch to continue staying on top of this serious, and I hope that there are many more videos to come!

You can add a spore blossom on the top of the inside (ceiling) of your dome. I think that would look very good/much better. You can also add some moss to add some vegetation inside and/or outside. I love your videos by the way!

There's something with Sniffers remembering the last 20 blocks they've dug in, so if you ever want your farm to speed up, you might want to make a really big plot of land for it

If you want to use grass blocks in the sniffer farm just replace the hoppers with a hopper minecart track
The Barge looking dome over the Squid farm gave me so much Nostalgia man.
Season 7 was my first season of watching Hermitcraft and i carry such fond memories of it☺
Two tips for the squid greenhouse: One, I'm pretty sure you can put any transparent block above the squid farm, not just glass, so leaves, carpets, etc. Two: If you use shears on a partially grown plant, I think it will stop the growth. That might just be for bamboo and vines, though.

Putting a Secret Pane of Pain in Etho's inventory feels like the ultimate challenge
I mean if Doc can anvil Etho I'm sure it's possible
Especially since Etho doesn't play very often and when he does, he's in another timezone on the opposite side of the world (iirc Etho used to play very late at night and would generally log off around the time the brits were waking up)

I gotta say, I do hope the pot gets some more decorations, it’s a bit plain as is. Even the B Grian has planned might not be enough. It’d be nice to see like some decorations either just some strips of an accent colour or even some subtle designs in a different shade or texture. Maybe something similar to the designs of the pots that have been added

And then he's gonna make some dead tree affected by the pollution doc's probably been making happen and it'll all look so good!

I sometimes do the thing where i just mouse over every slot shift clicking regardless of if it has anything, and I'm sure the hermits do it as well from time to time. (Particularly when you have a lot of diverse junk in your inventory so double clicking to move all of a kind isn't worth it)
We are talking about the same guy who was soulmates with Grian and didn't know until the end of the session.
