Officially the best episode of grian i had in awhile, as its such a surprise that so much progress has been done in 1 episode!!! I was acustomed to the more relaxed pace of the series for awhile so to see it comeback to S7 levels its so good!
With this idea of making a challenge for Zedaph to obtain the dragon egg and then the observer It makes me think of a Mario style level obstacle course where at the end just when Zedaph thinks hes got it. The egg just disappears with a hidden compartment showing a sign reading 'Oops looks like the egg is in another castle'
For the target block… can you use a hidden skulk sensor to detect when Mumbo gets close to it or uses a projectile and have the target disappear only to have a different one pop up?
Uh probably but I think it’d be difficult since it can’t detect projectiles differently from walking, and skulk sensors make sounds so he’d know it was there
I don't often comment and especially not to say things like this, but the base honestly looks super lovely now. It's so cosy, and what you've built **really** helps make it more grounded and part of the environment instead of just a bunch of rocks placed on some grass.

A good idea for a shop next season would be to basically display the chest monster and sell each chest or sulker box and whatever is in it for diamonds! The perfect way to get rid of the chest monster AND make a profit too!

That rocky landscape is beautiful. I think this is my favorite build of that season when it comes to beauty. It reminds me of my many hiking trips in the Alps. I hope Grian extends it to encompass the entire path to the big stone arch gateway.

Not only did Mumbo's copper burner made Grian mistrust Mumbo for a second, it invigorated the best friend spark within him when Grian found out it was a fake burner. Honestly, the only way to top that is if Grian created a device that makes him spawn in Mumbo's room irl

I think being bullied into finishing the back of your base reinvigorated your love & drive for your base! 😂 Seriously tho, the terraforming is STUNNING. You've really brought the surrounding area in to look like a part of your base in a way that feels so delightful and charming! And you know what my favorite part of your new storage system is? Not just that its cool & unique. Not just that it's clean & organized. Not that it's hidden out of sight. Its YOU. It fits the way your brain works much better. I can see this being easier for you to maintain because it works with how your brain operates & doesnt sacrifice your chest monster.

Finally some stuff done also I just realized that this is only episode 39, and it has been a year of this season. Season seven was almost 100 episodes I’m pretty sure. So there’s still a whole lot more season 9 to go!
I feel like the season 8 and season 9 of hermitcraft just didn't feel the same, this episode seems to have finally come back to the old fashioned grian content that I've known and loved so excited to see where the rest of the season takes us

The droppers didn't destory the copper; the hoppers below the lava picked them up first.
